What's New
- Multiple Drawings Generation for Reinforced Concrete Elements - Multi-selection of elements extends the functionality of reinforcement drawing options that are available as an extension in Revit Structure and Robot Structural Analysis. Users can now perform a multiple selection of elements, which makes the option of reinforcement drawings more useful and speeds up generation of fabrication documentation. This feature also unifies the user interface for Reinforcement Drawings and Reinforcement Design options.
- 3D Reinforcement - AutoCAD Structural Detailing now has the ability to present reinforcement and reinforced concrete element geometry in 3D views. 3D visualization helps users to easily check and verify if reinforcement is properly defined and more easily identify if there are reinforcement bar collisions and errors in the placement of steel reinforcement.
- Solid Objects on Drawings - Users now have the ability to display solid objects on structural drawings that include items that are typically supported by a steel structure, such as concrete foundations, concrete or masonry walls, concrete slabs, and plant structures. These elements do not necessarily affect the structural steel design but are a necessary part of the structural modeling process and offer a more accurate display and visualization of the structure on detailed drawings.
- Weld Symbols on Drawings - The ability to create weld definitions has been improved to enable the manual definition of welds on drawings. The creation of weld definitions is now possible with the addition of the Weld Definition dialogue box.
- Beams and Columns Macros─Enhanced Reinforcement Parameterization - This new feature extends the present functionality of reinforcement column and beam macros that are currently available in AutoCAD Structural Detailing, Revit Structure, and Robot Structural Analysis software. The new transversal reinforcement templates have been added for columns, enabling users to implement their own templates. Users can now automatically divide the main reinforcement bars of a beam according to the maximum length of reinforcement defined in the database with appropriate length of lap splices.
- Bolts, Nuts, and Washers Positioning - New enhancements enable the positioning of bolts, washers, and nuts, as well as permit the inclusion of the bolt descriptions on the drawing. The positioning of bolts, washers, and nuts separately enables the creation of tables of elements (profiles and plates) that contain bolts, washers, and nuts.
