Sending Simulation Files to the Cloud : “Could not connect to the cloud.”

Applies to : Autodesk Sim 360

Challenge

I’m using SIM 360 Pro and Autodesk Vault, when sending my simulation to the cloud, I continue to get an email notification saying it “could not connect to the cloud.”

Solution

Vault puts a Read-Only on that file.  Before submitting this simulation to the cloud you must first go to the file(s) and in properties remove the Read-Only Check mark.
