What’s New in AutoCAD Electrical 2013 Item Numbering?

Challenge :

What’s new in AutoCAD Electrical 2013 item numbering.  I have read the what’s new section and there is mention of Item numbering, but I didn’t quite understand it.

Solution :

When a schematic component is inserted or edited, there is now a section under Catalog Data where the item number can be picked ahead of time to correspond with the panel layout drawing.
