In this 3rd session of Autodesk Inventor Automation Academy, we move beyond manual assembly setup in Inventor. In this one we walk you through how to use iLogic rules and snippets to create a basic assembly configurator directly inside Inventor.
You’ll learn how to automate component placement, apply constraints programmatically, and build configurable assembly behavior without diving fully into the Inventor API. This session is a practical introduction to using iLogic for real-world automation workflows and scalable design processes.
Our agenda:
- Introduction to iLogic Assembly Configuration
- Understanding iLogic Snippets and Rules
- Adding Components Automatically
- Applying Constraints with iLogic
- Managing File Paths and Configurations
- Building a Basic Assembly Configurator
