Using Ansys Fluent Expressions to Simplify Setup and Post-Processing

Ansys Fluent Expressions allow you to quickly and easily set up complex boundary and cell zone conditions, source terms, material properties, and other elements for your CFD problem. Replace constant, single-valued entries of input conditions with mathematical expressions which can be functions of time, position, or even conditional statements.

These Expressions, which are not the same as User-Defined Functions (UDFs), can be used to replace single-valued entries with functions of time, position, or even conditional statements. All of this can be done easily in the Fluent User Interface, with no need for advanced coding.

Join us for the KETIV Virtual Academy session that will be easy to understand and adapt this feature, even if you have no advanced programming experience! We will demonstrate how Fluent Expressions can be used to simplify the assignment of some common types of boundary conditions and post-processing outputs.
