Vault Crashes When Changing State or Category of Any File

Follow these steps:

Step #1: Navigate to C:\Users\username\AppData*\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk Vault Professional 20XX Step #2: Zip the contents of the folder Step #3: Move the Zip file to your desktop Step #4: Try to Change State or Category of a file

Step #1: Close your Vault Client and go to C:\Users\username\AppData*\Roaming\Autodesk\Autodesk Vault Professional 20XX.

*AppData is a hidden folder. Make sure your File Explorer view settings are set to show hidden items.

Step #2: Select all files (CTRL A) in the folder and send/compress to Zip file.

Step #3: Move the Zip file to your desktop

Step #4: Launch the Vault Client and try to Change State or Category. Upon successful change state or category, you may discard the Zip file on your desktop.
