Why Automation?

Automation helps people meet design challenges and presents an opportunity to do better. By pairing their imagination with new forms of computer automation, people can design better products, fabricate them faster, and make work more meaningful.

iLogic is a toolset for Autodesk Inventor that allows you to add an additional layer of intelligence to designs. Watch the session below to be given an introduction to iLogic, including a review of some basic commands. Watch Senior Technical Specialist, Nathan Eliason (nathan.eliason@ketiv.com) as he introduces you to our KETIV Automation Starter Kit.

The goal of the starter kit is to give your organization a real 3D-model with iLogic code to practice the basics of automation so you can begin to automate within your organization.

Some items that will be included in the Automation Starter Kit include:

  • A Dataset for learning to write iLogic rules
  • A Dataset with completed iLogic code for reference
