The ideal mesh element is a block, with 1:1:1 aspect ratio…
When modeling thin objects, standard 1:1:1 mesh quality rules of thumb result in computationally expensive models with large number of mesh elements. In this session, you will be introduced to Shell Elements which can reduce the number of mesh elements used to model thin objects.
