Autodesk Inventor is a powerful computer-aided design software primarily used for 3D mechanical design, simulation, visualization, and documentation. It is widely used in various industries, including manufacturing, engineering, and product design. With Inventor, you can create 3D models of your designs, simulate their behavior under real-world conditions, and generate detailed drawings and documentation for manufacturing.

Inventor Sample Dataset
In this video, we demonstrate how to bring all of your parts together into an assembly with added constraints to ensure proper alignment. Learn how to dynamically edit individual parts within your assembly, allowing you to easily make modifications to ensure proper fit and visibility of each part. See how to view and modify relationships between parts, create different views with hidden or visible parts, and generate a bill of materials.
Now that you’ve finished your parts and placed them into an assembly, this video will show you how to create a dynamic drawing of your model. See how to add annotations and dimensions to the drawing, and learn how to include a parts list and balloons to identify components within your assembly.

Getting Started in Inventor
As shown in the first video above, the guided tutorials inside of Inventor are a great way to get started. Set the Type filter to ‘Quick Start’ to view tutorials that introduce you to the basics of sketching, part modeling, creating assemblies, and documenting your design in a drawing.
