The Session

Watch below to see KETIV experts Eric Curatola, Nigel Ambayec, and Autodesk’s Julio Alfaro walk us through the recent Autodesk Virtual Academy session.

What is Advance Steel?

Advance Steel’s detailing software is built on the AutoCAD platform. Intelligent 3D modeling tools help you accelerate accurate design and detailing. Decrease the time it takes to fabricate and construct with tools that automatically generate shop drawings and deliverables.

Advance Steel generates detailed representations such as welds and exact cuts of beams. Users can take their models straight from Revit and work to further detail models in Advance Steel. Though most of the uses for Advance Steel are linked to structural design, it also has uses in manufacturing as well.
